What’s in art galleries

* An exhibition of multimedia artwork entitled “Sideways in Tehran” and created by several Iranian and foreign artists, is underway at the Tarrahan-e Azad Gallery.

Works by Atusa Bandeh Ghiasabadi, photographers Sara Blokland, Katrin Korfmann, and Sammy Chekhes, as well as notes by writers Tina Rahimi and Nickel van Duijvenboden have been put on display.
The works will be on display until November 5 at the gallery located at No. 41 Salmas Square off of Fatemi St.
* The Saba Art and Culture Institute is holding a painting exhibition by Lida Farshi and Hossein Fallah.
The exhibit will continue until November 2 at the institute, which is located on Mozaffar St. and Taleqani Ave, near Felestin Square.
* The Asaar Gallery is to host a joint painting exhibition by Parvaneh Razzaqi, Fahimeh Hosseini, and Elaheh Qasemipur, which will open on November 3.
The exhibit will continue until November 9 at the venue located on Labbafinejad St., off Fakhr-e Razi St.
* A painting exhibition by Pantea Keshavarz is to open at the Laleh Gallery on November 1.
A collection of 20 works on the central theme of windows will be put on display until November 9 at the venue located on Fatemi St., near Laleh Park.
* The Haft-Samar Gallery is to host an exhibition by Farzaneh Mahbubi starting October 31.
The exhibit will continue until November 5 at the venue located on Sarafraz St. off Shahid Beheshti Ave.
* The Kamaleddin Behzad Gallery will play host to two exhibitions, one of paintings by Mahmud Hamzanlui and the other graphic works by Eshrat Jazayeli opening on November 1.
The exhibits will continue until November 6 at the venue located at No. 312, Shanzdah-e Azar St. at the intersection with Keshavarz Blvd.
* The Shirin Gallery is to hold an exhibition by Taha Behbahani opening on October 31.
The exhibit will continue until November 12 at the venue located at 120 Fana-Khosro St., near Tajrish Bridge.
* An exhibition of photos and other works by Sadeq Tirafkan is to open on October 31 at the Asar Gallery.
The exhibit will continue until November 8 at the gallery located on Barforushan St. off Iranshahr St..
